Oswego road rage incident leads to charges

A 53-year-old Batavia man has been charged with aggravated assault and disorderly conduct following a road rage incident that happened around 7:52 p.m. Sunday near Orchard Road and Minkler Road in Oswego, police said.
Police said John McHugh, 0-99 block of Sunnyside Park, allegedly pulled out a mace gun during an altercation with another driver, leading to the charges against him.
Christopher Rodriguez, 34, 400 block of Palace Street, Aurora, was charged with drunken driving, driving on a suspended license, failure to signal, no insurance and improper lane usage at 2:30 a.m. Sunday near Palace Street and West Park Avenue, police said.
Daniel Nava, 35, 400 block of Fifth Street, Aurora, was charged with drunken driving, failure to signal and driving the wrong way down a one-way street at 2:21 a.m. Saturday near East New York Street and North East Avenue, police said.
Patrick Sanders, 21, homeless, was charged with felony retail theft at 5:50 p.m. Friday in the 4300 block of Fox Valley Center Drive, police said.
Nicky Jowers, 38, 600 block of Morton Avenue, was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana at 7:50 p.m. Friday near West Illinois Avenue and Morton Avenue, police said.
Dominique Balark, 32, 1300 block of Monomoy Street, Aurora, was charged with drunken driving, no insurance, improper lane usage and leaving the scene of an accident at 2:30 a.m. Saturday near West Indian Trail Road and North Lake Street, police said.
Chad McNulty, 39, 900 block of East Benton Street, Aurora, was charged with felony manufacturing/delivering between 500 and 2,000 grams of marijuana, and felony possession of marijuana at 3:20 p.m. Thursday at his home, police said.
Sandra White, 41, 900 block of East Benton Street, Aurora, was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance and felony manufacturing/delivering between 500 and 2,000 grams of marijuana at 3:20 p.m. Thursday at her home, police said.
Tony Powell, 24, 700 block of Oakton Road, Montgomery, was charged with predatory criminal sexual assault of a victim under the age of 13, a Class X felony, stemming from a Feb. 16 incident in Kane County, according to Kane County Court records.
Eric Chapa, 29, 1100 block of Trask Street, Aurora, was charged with manufacturing/delivering between 400 and 900 grams of cocaine, a Class X felony, felony possession of cocaine, and felony possession of marijuana stemming from an incident that occurred Thursday in Aurora, court records show.
Glavan Mirna, 21, 900 block of North Main Street, Sandwich, was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after deputies responded to a crash at 3:06 a.m. Sunday in the 17300 block of Frazier Road in Little Rock Township, deputies said.
A 21-year-old Yorkville man was injured during a fight at 4:13 a.m. Sunday in the 0-99 block of Saugatuck Road in Montgomery, deputies said. The victim was allegedly cut with a beer bottle, causing deep lacerations. The investigation into the incident is ongoing, deputies said.
Anthony Zoda, 38, 1500 block of Stoneridge Court, Yorkville, was charged with drunken driving at 9:38 p.m. Sunday in the 1100 block of Route 34, police said.
Three Aurora residents were injured and transported to an area hospital for treatment at 9:48 a.m. Saturday after the car they were riding in slid on the ice, left the road, and overturned near Baseline Road and Route 47, police said.
