Police seek public’s help after shooting in Kendall County

Police are asking for the public’s help in solving a shooting incident Tuesday night in which several shots were fired at an occupied home in an unincorporated area of Kendall County near Montgomery.

About 10:45 p.m. on Feb. 11, an unknown male suspect shot a firearm multiple times at a residence in the 0-100 block of Denham Drive, Det. Sgt. Joe Jasnosz of the Kendall County Sheriff’s office said.

Seven people, including one child, were in the home at the time of the shooting, but no one was injured, he said.

Witnesses told police two people dressed in dark clothing were seen running away from the house after the shots were fired, Jasnosz said. One suspect is described as a tall, thin male.
