Police  investigate vehicle burglaries

Two vehicles were broken into in St. Charles recently, prompting police to ask for the public’s help in solving the burglaries.

Officers responded to two separate calls for a burglary to a motor vehicle in close proximity during the early hours of Feb. 12, according to a statement from St. Charles police.

The first burglary happened in the 100 block of St. Germain Place, and the second in the 200 block of Tower Hill Drive, police said. In both instances, the owners had miscellaneous personal items stolen.
