Car, TV stolen from Montgomery home

Someone stole coins, a television and a vehicle from a home in the 0-99 block of Woodridge Drive in Montgomery sometime between Jan. 29 and Feb. 5, Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies said.

Deputies said there was forced entry into the home from a basement window. No loss estimate was given.


A bicyclist was injured at 8:14 a.m. Monday in the 1100 block of North Farnsworth Avenue, police said. Thomas Montgomery, no age or address given, was taken to an area hospital for treatment. He was cited for failure to yield when exiting a private drive, police said.


Kelsey Weeks, 18, of Plano, was injured in a three-car crash at 7:37 a.m. Thursday near Route 30 and Goodwin Drive, police said. Weeks was taken to an area hospital where she was treated for injuries.
