Updated: March 12, 2014 6:15AM

Two Sunday night shootings left one man injured in Aurora, police said.

Aurora police said a 29-year-old man was shot in the arm as he was getting out of his vehicle in the driveway of a home in the 400 block of Hinman Street around 7:50 p.m.

The victim told police that someone in a passing vehicle, possibly a black 1994 or 1995 Jeep Cherokee, fired several shots toward him.

The offending vehicle had gold trim and gold rims, and was occupied by several people, police said.

According to police, the victim sustained a non-life threatening gunshot wound to his arm.

About 15 minutes prior to the Hinman Street shooting, a home in the 900 block of Liberty Street was struck by gunfire, causing $300 in damage, police said. A kitchen window was damaged.

There were no injuries in that shooting, and no suspect description could be given.

Anyone with information is asked to call Aurora police at 630-256-5500 or Aurora Area Crime Stoppers at 630-892-1000.
