No one was injured Thursday night during a fire at a condominium building in Aurora.
Aurora firefighters arrived at the fire at the five-unit condominium building in the 400 block of Metropolitan Street at 10:20 p.m. Thursday.
Arriving fire companies found a garage in the building engulfed in flames, with fire extending up the exterior of one of the homes.
Occupants discovered the fire, exited the home, and notified the fire department.
The fire was contained to the garage area and exterior of the home, however light smoke was reported in neighboring condominium units, fire officials said.
Seven fire companies fought the fire. There were no reported injuries to any occupants or firefighters.
Damage to the structure is estimated at $20,000. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
