Man charged with drunken driving following crash

Timothy Huebner, 25, of Ottawa, was charged with drunken driving following a crash that occurred around midnight on Saturday, police said.

Police said Huebner was driving near Ohio Street and Sixth Avenue when he disregarded a dead-end road sign, striking an embankment and a fire hydrant.

He was charged with drunken driving, disobeying a traffic control device, and for not wearing his glasses, police said.


Kenneth Colburn, of Big Rock, was charged with drunken driving, no insurance, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, failure to yield while turning left and disregarding a traffic control device around 1:33 a.m. Saturday near Orchard Road and Galena Boulevard, police said.

Samuel Laskowski, 17, 0-99 block of Ashwood Court, Sugar Grove, was charged with felony manufacturing/delivering marijuana, and possession of marijuana at 6:03 p.m. Thursday in the 300 block of North Harrison Avenue, police said.
