Aurora police are investigating a home invasion that occurred Wednesday morning involving three masked men who held a 13-year-old boy at gunpoint while they robbed his home.

The victim told police he was walking up to the front door of his home in the 700 block of Eagle Drive around 7:40 a.m. when he was forced inside by three men, one of whom had a gun.

Police said the teen was held for approximately 10 minutes while the men ransacked the home, stealing jewelry from the residence.

When they were finished, police said the men fled in a gray Mazda CRV or similar styled vehicle.

Police said the teen was not injured during the invasion, but did have his arms forced behind him when he was pushed into the home.

The suspects, who were all wearing masks, were described as being around 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing between 150 and 160 pounds.

Anyone with information is asked to call Aurora police investigators at 630-256-5500 or Aurora Area Crime Stoppers at 630-892-1000. Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and qualify for a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to any arrests.
