Batavia man charged with burglaries

A Batavia man was charged Friday in connection with residential burglaries that happened in the city on April 8 and Oct. 17.
The April burglary occurred in the 400 block of Houston Street, while the other burglary was in the 0-99 block of North Jefferson Street.
Depree M. Sharp, 29, of the 100 block of North Jefferson Street in Batavia, has been charged with two counts of residential burglary, a Class 1 felony, and two counts of theft, a Class 4 felony.
Someone slashed the tires of three vehicles, causing $1,000 in damage, between 3 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. Thursday while the vehicles were parked in the 900 block of Plum Street, police said.
Terese Kolman, 3300 White Oak Drive, North Aurora, was injured in a three-car crash at 6:03 p.m. Thursday in the 2100 block of West Route 34, police said. Kolman was involved in a rear-end crash and was charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, police said. She was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
Someone reported that a salt spreader worth $1,230 was stolen between noon Monday and 6 a.m. Wednesday from the back of a pickup truck parked in the 600 block of Plum Street, according to police said.
Jordan Way, 28, of Wisconsin, was charged with drunken driving, improper lane usage, and illegal transportation of alcohol at 1:37 a.m. Friday near Route 47 and Greenbriar Road, police said.
Bail was set at $100,000 for a Bristol man who was charged Monday with intending to deliver LSD, Kendall County court records show.
Thomas Rosebush, 23, 0-99 block of Dogwood Drive, was charged with possession of 15 or less grams of MDMA, and possession of between 15 and 200 hits of LSD with the intent to deliver, a Class X felony.
