Oswego police seek burglary suspect

Oswego police are searching for a man after a residential burglary at 7:11 p.m. Monday in the 400 block of Terrace Lane.

The resident of the home reported that a man rang the front door bell and upon hearing no answer, he went to the back of the home and tried to enter by opening a window.

According to a police report, the suspect is described as a black man, age 40 to 50, with a skinny build. He stands between 5 foot 3 inches and 5 foot 7 inches tall and has a gray goatee. He was last seen wearing black pants, an oversized black winter coat and a black folded stocking hat.

Aurora

Maria de Jesus Alarcon, 25, 1100 block Denver Drive, Carpentersville, was charged Monday at 10:30 p.m. with driving under the influence, a Class A misdemeanor. Alarcon was arrested at a McDonald’s in the 1100 block of North Farnsworth Avenue in Aurora.

Adam Snow, 25, of the 400 block of Dartmouth Lane, Schaumburg, was charged with drunken driving, speeding and illegal transportation of liquor at Lake Street and West Downer Place at 2:07 a.m. Sunday, police said.

Imani Martin was charged with driving too fast for conditions and no insurance in a two-car crash with injuries at East Indian Trail and Mitchell Road at 4:13 p.m. Sunday, police said. According to a report, Angelica Emeric was transported to Presence Mercy Medical Center following the crash.
