Deputies: Aurora man burglarized business twice

Updated: December 6, 2013 6:18AM

An Aurora man has been charged with two counts of felony burglary for allegedly stealing power tools from an Oswego Township business on two separate occasions.

Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies said Nathaniel Hood, 24, 400 block of Plum Street, was involved in both incidents, which occurred this summer.

On April 11 around 6:53 a.m., deputies were called to the business in the 900 block of Harvey Road in Oswego Township for the report of the first burglary. Several weeks later, on May 3, they responded to another burglary at the same location.

Deputies conducted an investigation into both incidents, and on Oct. 11, a warrant was issued for Hood’s arrest.

Hood was taken into custody on Thursday at the Kendall County Courthouse in Yorkville.

He posted $5,000 bond, and was released with a Nov. 5 court date, deputies said.
