Construction equipment stolen

Construction equipment, worth $4,250, was stolen sometime between 6 p.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. Wednesday in Aurora, police said. According to police, the items were stolen from a locked trailer that was parked in the 1600 block of Molitor Road.
Darryl Love, 46, 900 block of Kane Street, Aurora, was charged with felony domestic battery, aggravated assault, and two counts of domestic battery at 6:42 p.m. Tuesday in the 900 block of Kane Street, police said.
Eric Mohrbacher, 37, 1000 block of South Pleasure Court, Aurora, was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance and a front light violation at 8:17 p.m. Tuesday near Grand Avenue and West New York Street, police said.
Marlene Simmons, 700 block of Jungels Avenue, Aurora, was injured in a two-car crash that occurred around 11:18 a.m. Wednesday near Lake Street and West Park Avenue, police said. Simmons was charged with disobeying a red light after she allegedly ran a red light and her vehicle was struck by another car, causing her car to flip, police said. Police said Simmons was taken to an Aurora hospital, and then transferred to a suburban hospital trauma center.
Nelia Colts, 200 block of Sherman Avenue, Montgomery, was taken to an Aurora hospital where she was treated for injuries following a two-car crash that occurred at 4:07 p.m. Wednesday near Aurora Avenue and Sullivan Road, police said. Police charged Veronica Puente, 1100 block of North Russell Avenue, Aurora, with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident for allegedly rear-ending Colts’ vehicle, police said.
Tasha Willis, of Naperville, was taken to an Aurora hospital where she was treated for injuries following a three-car rear-end crash that occurred at 4:59 p.m. Wednesday near Indian Trail and Aurora Avenue, police said. Police charged Ana Guiterrez, 900 block of Edwards Street, Aurora, with having no valid license and driving too fast for conditions.
Two people were taken to an Aurora hospital where they were treated for injuries following a two-car crash that occurred at 9:21 p.m. Wednesday near Ogden Avenue and Pointe Boulevard, police said. William and Lisa Mueller, both of the 3300 block of Big Bend Drive, Aurora, were injured when they were struck by a vehicle driven by Jeremy Grant of Millbrook, police said. Grant was charged with failure to yield.
