Aurora speeding stop ends in DUI arrest

An Aurora man was charged with drunken driving after he was pulled over for speeding early Friday morning.
Police stopped Guillermo Garcia-Campos, 27, 600 block of Grand Avenue, for speeding at 12:01 a.m. near Austin Avenue and Sheffer Road. Police reports show Garcia-Campos had confessed to drinking, and was given field sobriety tests.
He was subsequently charged with drunken driving, no insurance, no license, and speeding, police said.
Anibal Rosales, 21, 1300 block of Rural Street, Aurora, was charged with felony criminal sexual abuse at 8:22 p.m. Wednesday at the Aurora Police Station, police said.
Someone stole between $900 and $1,000 sometime between 3 a.m. and noon on Wednesday from a business in the 2400 block of Route 34, police said. The incident is under investigation.
Wesley Gibson, 22, of Crest Hill, was charged with improper lane usage, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia at 2:12 a.m. Thursday near Main Street and Jefferson Street, police said.
