Police search for Aurora bank robber

Police are searching for a man who robbed the Associated Bank on the Neare West Side of Aurora Tuesday afternoon.
Aurora police are assisting the FBI in the investigation of the robbery at the bank at 301 W. Galena Blvd.
The preliminary investigation indicates that at about 2:50 p.m., the suspect, a black male, approximately 25 to 30 years old, and about 5 feet, 9 inches tall, entered the bank through a main entrance.
He then approached a teller and demanded money. After securing an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect ran from the bank.
The suspect was wearing a fishing-type hat, glasses, and a white, long-sleeved shirt.
No one was injured in the incident.
