Aurora man charged with attempted murder after stabbing

A 56-year-old Aurora man has been charged with attempted murder and aggravated battery after allegedly stabbing his roommate early Tuesday morning.
Marvin Martin, 0-99 block of South View Street, allegedly stabbed his roommate with a box cuter-like object during an argument inside their home, police said.
The victim, a 51-year-old man, suffered stab wounds to his neck, shoulder, torso and arm, police said.
He underwent surgery at a local hospital, and is expected to survive.
