Robbery reported at Aurora bank

No one was injured during the robbery of a bank on Aurora’s West Side Thursday afternoon.
Aurora police are assisting the FBI in investigating the robbery of the Old Second National Bank that occurred around 2 p.m.
Police said that a young, black male entered the bank, located at 555 Redwood Drive, and demanded cash from a teller.
The suspect implied he had a weapon, and ran from the bank toward Lilac Lane after receiving an undetermined amount of cash.
Police said the suspect was described as being between 18 and 20 years old, 5-foot 8 to 5-foot 10, 160 pounds, and had braids in his hair. He was wearing a dark, hooded sweatshirt, black pants, black rimmed glasses, and a brimmed, possibly camouflaged hat.
