Marijuana stash discovered at rehab facility

An Aurora man was charged with possession of marijuana Wednesday after an employee at a local rehabilitation facility smelled the drug in the man’s room.
Lavelle Peete, 51, 900 block of East Lake Street, allegedly admitted to having the marijuana stashed inside of an unused electrical outlet at the rehab facility in the 1600 block of North Farnsworth Avenue, police said. Police took Peete into custody around 4:20 p.m.
Kyle Raboine, 25, 600 block of Hammond Avenue, Aurora, was charged with felony possession of marijuana and felony manufacturing/delivering marijuana at 4:44 p.m. Wednesday in the 600 block of Hammond Avenue, police said.
Joshua Hoover, 25, 600 block of Hammond Avenue, Aurora, was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance at 5:20 p.m. Wednesday in the 700 block of Prairie Street, police said.
Chandler Chantel, 24, 100 block of North State Street, Aurora, was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, illegal transportation of alcohol, and no license at 3:45 p.m. Thursday in the 700 block of East New York Street, police said.
