Molly
Age: 1 year old
Breed: Akita-lab mix
Background: Molly came from a high-kill shelter in Indiana where she was found as a stray, but her hard life hasn’t damaged this girl’s joyful spirit.
Personality: Adorable Molly loves everyone — adults, kids and other dogs. She really enjoys her toys and generously shares them.
Other: She’s coming along well on her house training and does great in her crate at night and while her foster parents are away. She already is spayed and current on her shots.
Adoption fee: $200, which includes microchipping.

Shakespeare
Age: 2 years old
Breed: Doxie/Papillon mix
Background: He was treated badly in his former life, thusly he only responds to kindness. He may not be great with small children because of this.
Other: He only weighs about 10 pounds and is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all his shots.

Phyllis
Age: 4 years old
Breed: Short-haired black-and-white cat
Background: Phyllis and her siblings lost their mom when they were 2 weeks old, so she was bottle fed as a kitten and still lives in her original foster home.
Personality: Since Phyllis was raised by a human “mom,” she is very social, friendly and loves people. She also loves playing with her other kitty friends. She is a very cute black-and-white spotted kitty.

Benny
Age: 6 years old
Breed: Beagle
Background: ADOPT pulled Benny from an Indiana shelter. He has been at the shelter since late December.
Personality: Benny is a favorite at the shelter. Volunteers love to sit in his kennel and shower him with love and affection. He loves the attention and just melts in their laps. Benny has a sweet disposition but has some medical issues. Benny is easy to handle on walks. He’ll keep at your pace while his nose is on the ground picking up scents.
Other: All animals are spayed or neutered, microchipped and are up to date on age-related vaccines.

Background: Angel came to ADOPT in June when her family could no longer keep her.
Personality: Once Angel gets to know you, she is a very sweet and affectionate girl, who has much love to give and would be a true friend who would stay with you through thick and thin. The video of her online tells it all. .

Breed: Border Collie mix
Background: He was transferred from a shelter in Oklahoma.
Personality: Boots is very friendly and energetic. He will need lots of mental and physical exercise. He needs to be the only dog in his home and will do best with older children.

Breed: Domestic long hair
Background: He was surrendered because his previous family was moving.
Personality: He is extremely sweet and affectionate, and loves being around people and being brushed. He is a little shy in new situations but warms up and would do best in a quieter home.

Chloe
Age: 2-1/2 years
Breed: Domestic long hair
Background: Chloe was found in an abandoned garage with her son. She was all matted.
Personality: Chloe is a beautiful girl with big bright gold eyes. She only weighs 8 pounds. Her fur grew out so pretty after she was shaved when she first came in. She is neat and clean, grooming herself and eating neatly like the dainty girl she is. She does not “talk” a lot, so she won’t wake you from your nap.
Other: She is totally litter box trained. Chloe is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations.
