Guns stolen from Aurora home

An Aurora man reported several guns were stolen from his house in a residential burglary Sunday afternoon in the 200 block of Harrison Avenue, Aurora police said.
According to a report, a 20-gauge shotgun, a 12-gauge shotgun, three semi-automatic rifles and an air rifle were stolen from the home. The guns were valued at $4,050, police said.
An Aurora man reported a burglary that occurred during the early morning hours Friday at a business in the 1000 block of Lake Street, Aurora police said. According to a report, three desktop computers, two laptop computers, a 32-inch television and a Comcast cable box were stolen. The items were valued at $4,150, police said.
A digital camera, two laptops, Mexican pesos, change and jewelry were stolen in a residential burglary in the afternoon Friday in the 2300 block of Blue Spruce Lane, police said. The items were valued at $1,060, police said.
A digital camera and $2,000 in cash were stolen in a residential burglary Saturday in the 1400 block of Robinwood Drive, police said.
Douglas Vaughn, 45, of the 500 block of South Eighth Street, East St. Louis, Mo., was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance, felony possession of cocaine, felony possession of cocaine with the intent to deliver, and felony delivery of a controlled substance near a park or school at 2:20 p.m. Thursday at High Street and Illinois Avenue, police said.
Eric Amwoza, 29, of the 500 block of Colorado Avenue, Aurora, was charged with felony aggravated drunken driving at 1:10 a.m. Saturday at Illinois Avenue and Orchard Road, police said.
William Fassig, 55, of the 900 block of West Galena Boulevard, Aurora, was charged with drunken driving, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, failure to yield and no insurance at 10:40 p.m. Sunday at West Galena Boulevard and View Street, police said.
Marissa House, 18, of the 800 block of Bishop Avenue, Aurora, was charged with felony obstruction of justice and criminal trespassing at 8:39 a.m. Friday at an unknown location, police said.
Alexis Liddell, 32, of the 600 block of South River Street, Aurora, was charged with two counts of felony domestic battery and criminal trespassing at 12:26 p.m. Thursday in the 1000 block of Homer Avenue, Aurora police said.
Maggie Banbour of Bloomington, Ill., was charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and failure to stop at an intersection in a two-car crash with injuries at 8:08 a.m. Friday, police said. Lynn Pelletier of Montgomery was injured in the crash and transported to Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora.
Dipak J. Patel, 30, of the 1100 block of Light Road, Oswego, was charged with drunken driving, leaving the scene of an accident, possession of drug paraphernalia, improper lane use, driving left of center, improper passing of vehicles proceeding in the opposite direction, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, failure to give aid or information and failure to report an accident to a police authority after a hit-and-run accident at 10:35 p.m. Sunday at Plainfield and Cherry Roads, sheriff’s deputies said.
Craig W. Olson, 53, of the 200 block of Washington Street, Oswego, was charged with drunken driving at 7:50 p.m. Sunday at Route 47 and Walker Road in Kendall Township after a traffic stop, sheriff’s deputies said.
An unidentified passenger was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital with injuries after a single-car accident at 8:17 p.m. Saturday at Route 34 near Autumn Creek Boulevard. The driver lost control of his vehicle and left the roadway, striking a tree, police said.
A 17-year-old from Somonauk was arrested at 1:43 a.m. Sunday at Route 34 and Ben Street in Plano and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. She was also cited for speeding in a construction zone.
