Two people were injured Friday in a three-vehicle collision on Interstate 88 between Naperville and Lisle.
Two men were taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove with injuries in the crash, which occurred just before noon between Yackley and Naperville roads. An eastbound lane of the tollway was closed for a time Friday afternoon as police investigated the crash.
Illinois State Police said the accident occurred in the eastbound lanes, when a semi-truck changed lanes, striking a passenger truck, which then changed lanes and struck a flat-bed tow truck. All three vehicles then went into the ditch off the right shoulder.
Two traffic lanes were initially closed, but all lanes were open again by 3:03 p.m., according to State Police.
