Post offices open Sunday for holiday shoppers

Post offices in Aurora, Batavia and Naperville will open Sunday to help holiday shoppers more easily send their gifts on their merry way.

“This is one of the most exciting and busiest times of the year for the Postal Service,” said Dianne Anders, postmaster of the post office at 5707 S. Cass Ave., in Westmont, which also will open Sunday.

Locations that will be open Sunday include:

Noon to 4 p.m. — 500 N. Randall Road, Batavia

Noon to 4 p.m. — 3900 Gabrielle Lane, Aurora East

Noon to 4 p.m. — 525 N. Broadway, Aurora Main

11 a.m. to 4 p.m. — 1750 W. Ogden Ave., Naperville
