One person was hurt Saturday night in a one-vehicle crash involving a deer, Kendall County sheriff’s deputies said.
Michael D. Thompson, 22, of the 200 block of South West Street, Plano, told police that he swerved to avoid striking a deer, he lost control of his vehicle and struck a tree on Millhurst and Burr Oak roads in Fox Township.
A teenage passenger was taken by ambulance to Valley West Hospital in Sandwich with injuries that were not life-threatening, police said.
Joseph Anderson, 22, 3100 block of Fairfield Way, Montgomery, was taken to Valley West Hospital in Sandwich after a single-car crash Tuesday near Fox River Drive and Crimmins Road, the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office said. No condition report was available. Anderson was charged with driving under the influence, failure to reduce speed and no insurance, police said.
Deon Brady, 21, 0-99 block of Scarsdale Road, Montgomery, was charged Friday night with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia at Winrock and Braeburn streets, Oswego Township, the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office said. He also was charged with disobeying a stop sign and not having a valid driver’s license.
Darrel D. Space, 30, 4000 block of Southern Hill Drive, Memphis, Tenn., was charged early Friday morning with speeding and driving with a suspended license on Caton Farm Road, Na-Au-Say Township, the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office said.
Amber L. Barrier, 26, 600 block of Lincoln State Drive, Oswego, was charged early Saturday morning with drunken driving at Routes 30 and 34, Oswego Township, the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office said. She also was charged with illegal lane usage, failure to signal and not having proof of insurance.
Keith E. Olson, 20, 5000 block of Coneflower Drive, Naperville, was charged early Saturday morning with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor at Routes 30 and 34, Oswego Township, the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office said.
Anna Gadris, 19, 100 block of Chesterfield Drive, was arrested last week on an aggravated battery warrant from Kane County at 13th Street and Route 34, Oswego police said.
An estimated $15,000 in Heirloom Damask Rose Sterling Silver was stolen during the past year from a location at Ashcroft Lane and Linden Road, Oswego police said. It was reported stolen Friday, and Oswego police are investigating, they said.
