Woman charged in Batavia stabbings

BATAVIA — A Batavia woman has been charged in the stabbings of two men in a family disturbance at a Batavia home Sunday.
Diane J. Romano, 38, of the 0-99 block of North VanNortwick Street, is charged with felony aggravated domestic battery, felony aggravated battery causing great bodily harm, and felony aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, police said Monday.
She has also been charged with two counts of misdemeanor domestic battery and unlawful use of a weapon, police said.
Police said two men, ages 19 and 34, both suffered multiple stab wounds at the Van Nortwick Street residence at about 2:30 a.m. Sunday. Both men were conscious and taken to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening, police said.
