2 stabbed in Batavia, police talking to person of interest

Batavia police are speaking to a person of interest following a disturbance early Sunday where two men wound up stabbed.
At 2:34 a.m. police were called to a disturbance at a residence in the first block of North Van Nortwick Street, a release from police said.
When officers got to the scene they found two victims -- a 19-year-old man and a 34-year-old man -- who had both suffered multiple stab wounds. Both men were conscious at the scene and taken to an area hospital with non life-threatening injuries, according to police.
Police on Sunday were speaking to a person of interest but no charges had been filed as of about 1 p.m.
Batavia police say that this was an isolated incident and there is no danger to the public.
