Library workers opened a new chapter in their labor negotiations Sunday afternoon, by picketing at the Aurora Public Library’s Eola branch.
The protesters — members of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees Local 2283 — are mainly clerks, custodians, paraprofessionals and bookmobile drivers, rather than librarians.
The union said the approximately 100 employees have been working without a contract since January.
