Aurora Township: Forums on electric referendum

AURORA — Community meetings are planned on the electric aggregation question appearing on the Nov. 6 ballot for residents in unincorporated areas of Aurora Township. If approved, the township would contract with an alternative energy supplier for residential and small commercial retail customers.
City of Aurora voters approved a similar system in a referendum last spring.
Three informational meetings are set:
10 a.m. Saturday at the Marywood Community Center, 1805 Church Road, Aurora.
9 a.m. Oct. 20 at Riverstone Restaurant, 702 Montgomery Road, Montgomery.
6 p.m. Oct. 30 at the Aurora Township Office, 80 N. Broadway, Aurora.
