Kendall inmate dies in jail

The Kendall County sheriff and coroner’s offices are investigating the Friday death of an inmate at the Kendall County Jail.
Ronald Brown, 71, of Newark, was found dead around 5 p.m. in his holding cell at the jail by corrections officers.
Brown has been in the custody of the jail since Dec. 22.
There were no other inmates in the cell, and foul play is not suspected.
An autopsy is scheduled for Sunday.
